Davy’s centaury

Davy’s centaury is a tiny annual herbaceous wildflower, reaching only ~10 inches tall, and 3-5 inches wide.

Native to moist coastal bluffs, dunes, and open forests of central and southern California, this member of the Gentian family sports star-like pink blooms that can feature a white center in spring.

Davy’s centaury makes an adorable addition to a coastal planting, paired with Coast Buckwheat, Horkelia, or Beach Strawberry.
