Mexican rush

Mexican rush is a spreading perennial. It grows to about to 2.5 feet tall. It has a moderate to fast growth rate and grows in moist to wet soils.

This dark green rush is evergreen with year round water.

Use this plant in your native garden for excellent erosion control near water sources or plant around a backyard pond, as long as the spreading nature can be controlled. It tolerates sand, clay, no drainage and seasonal flooding.
