Blue Field Gilia

Blue Field Gilia is an annual wildflower that grows 6 inches to 2 feet tall and a little less than a foot wide.

With pincushion like spherical clusters of purple to blue flowers that are rich in nectar, providing food for many pollinators such as butterflies, native bees and honey bees.

It looks beautiful combined with the Moonglow poppy or the Azalea flowered monkeyflower.

Native to much of western North America from Alaska to northern Mexico. It grows in many habitats, especially in sandy or rocky soils.
