Carmine King Poppy

The ‘Carmine King’ California Poppy cultivar has rosy-colored, smaller pointed petals compared to the classic poppy.

It grows 1 – 1.5 ft. tall and 0.5 – 1 ft. wide. Space 2 ft. apart.

Like other poppies, the ‘Carmine King’ is summer deciduous (but can last through the summer, especially in milder climates) and will come back when the rainy season begins.

Rabbits and other small herbivores love to eat this plant, but it grows back quickly so they do not often kill it.
