Anchor Bay Ceanothus

Anchor Bay is a dense, low-spreading groundcover with slightly arching branches that grows up to 3 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide.

It is one of the best groundcover ceanothus. In coastal gardens it does it’s best sites but in inland gardens it will do just fine with a bit of shade and modest irrigation during the summer months. It can tolerate a clay soil and accept summer water better than most Ceanothus.

Lavender-blue flowers appear from March to May
