Maeve grew up in Berkeley, and has spent much of her life exploring open and wild spaces on the west coast. She has a B.S. in Geology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, where she focused on the biogeochemistry of freshwater systems. She has worked as a whitewater rafting guide, an environmental educator, and most recently, she worked in steelhead trout conservation and riparian restoration in San Luis Obispo. These experiences together have taught her about California Native ecology, and instilled in her a passion for restoration. As Project Manager, Maeve is excited to be involved in habitat restoration in the Bay Area, and to be surrounded by native plants every day. In her free time, Maeve enjoys cooking, cycling, camping, crafting, and spending time friends, family, and TWNC office dog, Saco.
