Fairy Fan Clarkia is an erect, showy annual wildflower – endemic to California –
Each fan-shaped petal is up to 3 centimeters long and is usually lavender with a white area and a deep maroon to purple spot in the middle. The petals are occasionally solid deep red. The flowers show up in May throught the beginning of September.
A delightful addition to any spring wildflower display.
