Fleshy Jaumea

Jaumea is a low perennial with fleshy leaves that grows to approximately 6″ and spreads by rhizomes.

Small, yellow, daisy-like flowers in summer give a bright, cheery show.

Jaumea grows in coastal salt marshes and likes full sun, and seaside conditions.  It survives in poor draining alkaline soil, salty conditions, and seasonal flooding.
