Frosty Blue Wild lilac
This evergreen variety is a rounded shrub 6-9′ tall with a spread up to 10′. It can be shaped into a small tree or used as a hedge.
It is relatively tolerant of heavy soils and routine watering, but prefers good drainage. Moderate deer tolerance – protect for at least the first year and expect some browsing thereafter.
In spring, it produces masses of sky blue flowers, in 3″ clusters of deep-blue frosted with white.
