Woolly angelica

This perennial herb makes a great specimen plant for any partially shaded garden.  In full bloom Angelica can reach from 3 to 5 feet.

Both the distinctive bold leaf patterns, and the umbrellas of fragrant white flowers are attractive to many beneficial insects.  With their bold design Angelica is great as a back border, or in a planter box.
